Naftalan oil is formed from biological organic material by sedimentation from the remains of dead microorganisms (phytoplankton, zooplankton, bacteria, algae and higher land plants) on the bottom of the sea or lake, where they were covered with mineral particles. This type of oil contains a high percentage of naphthenic hydrocarbons, steranes, compounds that are similar to steroid hormones and pro-vitamin D. It is steranes that are responsible for the therapeutic effect of naftalan.

Purpose: Naftalan oil for external use. Effectively stimulates skin regeneration, restores its physiological properties. Has antipruritic, anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, antimicrobial antioxidant effects. Increases skin elasticity, prevents the development of the epidermis, promotes increased metabolism.

Can be used as an adjunct in the treatment of dermatitis. It is not a medicine.
